International, Inc. is a leading
provider of engineered lifting solutions
including cranes, rough terrain
forklifts, reach stackers and container
handling equipment and special mission
oriented vehicles, including parts and
service support. Manufacturing is
located in several facilities in N.
America and Italy, and the Company
serves a broad range of customers,
including commercial, military and
governmental, across the world, through
a dealer network.
Our Company
Our Manitex
subsidiary located in Georgetown, Texas,
manufactures and markets a comprehensive
line of boom trucks and sign cranes
through a national and international
dealership network. Our boom trucks and
crane products are primarily used in
industrial projects, energy exploration
and infrastructure development,
including roads, bridges, and commercial
construction.
Our Manitex
Liftking subsidiary, located in
Woodbridge, Toronto is a provider of
material handling equipment including
the Noble straight-mast rough terrain
forklift product line, Lowry high
capacity cushion tired forklift and
Schaeff electric indoor forklifts as
well as specialized carriers, heavy
material handling transporters and steel
mill equipment. Manitex Liftking's rough
terrain forklifts are used in both
commercial and military applications.
Our Badger Equipment Company
subsidiary is a Winona, Minnesota-based
manufacturer of specialized rough
terrain cranes and material handling
products and Manitex Load King, located
in Elk Point South Dakota, is a
manufacturer of specialized custom
trailers and hauling systems typically
used for transporting heavy equipment.
In July 2010, the Company's
subsidiary, CVS Ferrari srl
entered into an agreement to rent
certain assets of CVS SpA on an
exclusive rental basis in its
operations. CVS SpA located near Milan,
designed and manufactured a range of
reach stackers and associated lifting
equipment for the global container
handling market, sold through a broad
dealer network. We completed the
acquisition of these assets in July
2011.
Our Crane and
Machinery division is a
Chicago-based distributor of cranes
including Terex truck and rough terrain
cranes, Fuchs material handlers and our
own Manitex product line. Crane and
Machinery provides aftermarket service
in its local market as well as being a
leading distributor of OEM crane parts,
supplying parts to customers throughout
the United States and internationally.
Strategy
Manitex strategy for growth is to deepen
its lifting solutions product line
through acquiring and developing
additional product lines of varying
lifting capacities and functionality.
The Company pursues such opportunities
that expand its addressable market as
well as opportunities to extend its
global presence, and will drive organic
growth through further cross-selling,
co-marketing and other strategies to
further penetrate its existing
distribution channels. |
